Murphica (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an AI image generation service operated by an individual based in the United Arab Emirates. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use murphica.com and related services.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Account: Email address and other information you provide when creating an account.
Content: Prompts, uploaded images (including images that may contain faces), and generated images.
Support: Information you share when contacting us.

Information We Automatically Collect

Log data: IP address, device/browser information, timestamps, and usage events.
Analytics: Usage and performance data collected via tools like Google Analytics.
Error & security telemetry: Diagnostic and crash data collected via tools like Sentry.
Cookies: Session cookies and related technologies used for authentication and preferences.

Face Data and “Biometric Data” Note

Murphica processes user-submitted photos and images that may contain a person’s face. We do not collect or generate face templates, faceprints, facial geometry, or other biometric identifiers for the purpose of identifying a person. We do not perform biometric identification or verification. However, user-submitted images that include a face may be considered biometric data under certain laws.

How We Use Face Data

To provide and operate the Service and generate the images, edits, or other outputs you request.
To process uploaded photos for optional model personalization or style/persona training features that you choose to use.
To store and display your uploaded images and generated results inside your account.
To maintain security, prevent abuse, and enforce our policies.
To analyze performance, fix bugs, and improve reliability.

We do not use uploaded face images to identify individuals, and we do not sell face data. Generated images may be used for marketing and promotional purposes as described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy and our Terms.

How We Use Information

To provide and operate the Service and generate requested images.
To maintain security, prevent abuse, and enforce policies.
To analyze performance, fix bugs, and improve reliability.
To communicate with you about service updates and account notices.
To use generated images for marketing and promotional purposes.

Sharing and Third Parties

We may share information with service providers that help us operate Murphica, including analytics providers (Google Analytics), error monitoring providers (Sentry), cloud storage/infrastructure providers, and AI model/infrastructure providers. If you upload photos that include a face, those photos may be processed by our AI model/infrastructure providers solely to provide the output you request. Processing may occur outside your country of residence.

We require third-party service providers that process data on our behalf to protect that data using the same or equivalent privacy and security protections described in this Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal data or face data.

Storage

Uploaded images, including images that may contain faces, are stored in private cloud object storage controlled by Murphica, and related file metadata is stored in our database. Access to stored uploads is restricted to the account owner and authorized service providers that process data on our behalf to operate the Service.

Data Retention

Generated images: Stored for at least 1 year unless you delete them earlier.
Uploaded images and trained models: Stored until you delete them or delete your account.
Face-containing uploaded images: Stored under the same rule as uploaded images, which means until you delete them or delete your account.
Account deletion: If you delete your account, associated data will be deleted within 180 days, unless retention is required by law or for security/fraud prevention.

Your Choices

You can delete your account and associated data from your account settings (if available) or by contacting us.
You can delete uploaded images from your account where deletion functionality is available.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings (note: disabling cookies may break login features).

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect data. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Murphica is intended for users 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
